The Franchise Founder Award was established to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the franchise community in the Southeast.
The 2014 recipients are Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley, Co-Founders of Zaxby’s, the highly successful and rapidly growing 650 unit quick casual chicken concept, headquartered in Athens, GA.
Zach and Tony’s story is indeed legendary! The childhood pals, with no restaurant ownership experience, actually dreamed up Zaxby’s almost a quarter of a century ago while shooting hoops in Zach’s backyard. The rest is history….
