As SVP of Brand Marketing Strategy for FOCUS Brands, Paul Macaluso is responsible for Brand Positioning, Architecture and Planning, Pricing, Consumer Research and the Public Relations, Creative Services, and Social Media centers of excellence for all brands.
Macaluso joined FOCUS Brands in 2011 as Chief Marketing Officer of Moe’s Southwest Grill, and over the course of three years, lead the team to achieve unprecedented success. Before joining FOCUS Brands, Paul served as the Vice President of Daypart and Product Marketing for Sonic Drive-Ins. In total, Paul has more than 20 years of restaurant experience, including a variety of Operations, HR and Marketing positions at Taco Bell Corporation and field and product marketing roles at Burger King Corporation.
Paul has served on the advisory board for the Franchise Consumer Marketing Conference since 2012 and, in 2015, was selected as the Marketing Committee Chair for the Southeast Franchise Forum. He holds a BS/Communication and an MBA from Florida State University and is a proud father of three children, Bianca, Enzo, and Rocco.
