Mr. Barr has been a frequent speaker on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and has met with senators, congressmen and their staffs to discuss the impact of ACA on restaurant jobs, including participating in a press conference with Senators McConnell and Rubio.
David Barr currently sits on the board of directors of a variety of public and private entities within both the restaurant and jewelry industries, including iconic brands in the restaurant sector such as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses, Sullivan’s Steakhouses, Mrs. Fields Cookies, TCBY Yogurt, and Don Pablo’s Mexican Grill, and the jewelry industry brands Charles & Colvard in the U.S, and Mazzacchelli’s and Zamel’s in Australia.
