Dexter Manning is an assurance partner in the Atlanta office of Grant Thornton LLP and serves as the national leader of the Grant Thornton food & beverage industry group. He has more than 20 years of experience in financial accounting and advisory services.  He serves clients by assisting in strategic business planning and operations, providing business advice on mergers, acquisitions, due diligence and analysis, Sarbanes-Oxley related issues, employee benefit plan design and implementation. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Dexter served as Chief Financial Officer of a regional beverage distribution company.

Dexter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past-president of the Kiwanis Club of Northside Atlanta, serves as a member of the board of directors and treasurer of the Southeast Franchise Forum, member of the University of Georgia, School of Accounting Advisory Board and the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta. Dexter also serves on the editorial advisory board of Food Processing Magazine.
